‘I don’t give a monkey’s’ – Harry hits back at West Ham fans
QPR manager Harry Redknapp shrugged off the frosty reception he was given from some of the home fans on his return to Upton Park.
The former West Ham player and manager was barracked during a 1-1 draw that extended bottom-of-the-table Rangers’ unbeaten run to five matches.
Redknapp said: “I don’t give a monkey’s. Am I going home worrying about what people think of me here? I couldn’t give two monkeys’. It’s the least of my problems at the moment.”
The Hammers secured a deserved point with Joe Cole’s second-half equaliser after Loic Remy had scored on his debut to put Rangers ahead.
Redknapp admitted: “It was difficult for us and I couldn’t sit here and say we deserved to win. A point here is a good result.”

I am a hammer and hold grudges against qpr…..good point yesterday albeit against the odds and runs of play… I do hope you guys stay up and you have a chance now. You qpr fans know as well as every person in the country with half a brain, with signings you’ve paid, wages your paying relegation is total disaster…………….fingers crossed as love a london derby…and before Nyone says anything Jesus…. We are kings of miss management….but Fernandez will not burn money he ain’t an abramovich…

QPR defended well yesterday but they were up against west ham are struggling to score. A.top team would have won by 5-6 yesterday. If I was a QPR fan I would worry about the lack of games left and are they winnable. Still lots to play for.
My worry is that they will be the next pompey if it go tits up, couldn’t care less about the club itself it’s the fans who lose out in situations like this.

I must admit that I’m a little worried by Harry’s previous form. Bournemouth, West Ham, Saints & Pompey have all had serious financial problems after Harry managed there. Spurs got shot of him before he could harm them plus they have a tightarse chairman to take care of them. I just hope that Fernandez isn’t funding the spending by borrowing otherwise we’re in trouble. I guess we’ll have to wait and look at the end of season accounts.

As a lifelong fan I am worried. I see a carbon copy of Pompey emerging here. I didn’t want either Fernandez or Harry anywhere near the club. They are even both fans of west ham and I don’t believe they care about anything but their own reputations. Tony doesn’t actually ‘own’ air Asia etc he just makes out he is a big player. He tried to buy Whu and they laughed him off. Whu absolutely battered us yesterday and their current form is terrible. Big concerns Remy or not.

I have to agree with the above. Why do people always believe in arry whenever he goes to a new club? It’s insane, he will ruin QPR. Just look at his track record. Fernandez is writing checks he cannot afford. His personal fortune is down to around £200m since taking over. In football owner terms that’s no where near enough. I’d be very worried indeed if I were a fan. Going down us not an option.

if only Fernandez had sacked hughes earlier, we would have a much better chance of survival, i fear harry will run out of games. at least we will go down fighting. Hughes was a total disaster and has destroyed the club, i just hope fernandez stays and financially supports the club otherwise it could end in administration. Tough times ahead for the club and if we do go down, will need to bounce back immediately!!
