Latest Remy speculation and Sunderland are linked with Austin
Arsenal have failed to match Loic Remy’s personal terms, giving Newcastle hope of buying the striker from QPR, according to the Daily Mail.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been tipped to sign Remy this summer but it is now claimed that the north London club have been unable to agree a deal.
Newcastle, where the Frenchman spent last season on loan, remain keen to sign him on a permanent basis.
The Daily Star say Newcastle are targeting both Remy and Chelsea’s former Magpies striker Demba Ba.
The Mail claim that Sunderland want QPR forward Charlie Austin.
It comes after Rangers made an offer for Ajax striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson and amid speculation linking them with Norwich’s Gary Hooper.
