A goal from Christian Eriksen inside 11 seconds set Spurs on their way to another Wembley victory. Here’s how we rated the players in their 2-0 win against Manchester United.
Made some very important saves to ensure United did not find an easy route back into the game. Blocked at the feet of Jesse Lingard, turned aside Anthony Martial’s near-post effort and kept out a Romelu Lukaku drive.
A night when this season’s exit of Kyle Walker made perfect sense. A marauding presence down the right flank. Chewed up the turf with pace and verve and found time to subdue Alexis Sanchez.
Hardly put a foot wrong. Always seemed in the right place at the right time and managed to pinch the ball off United toes on more than one occasion.
A superbly composed display at the heart of the defence. Always looked in charge and ready to mount the next Spurs attack.
A good outing on the left flank. Davies did his job of helping snuff out danger and never looked too ruffled on an off-night for the visitors.
Helped clog the central areas when Lingard or Lukaku threatened to thread their way through gaps.

His goal was the highlight of a fine display of astute passing and positional play. United never got to grips with him.

Not the main man this time, but still an excellent part of Tottenham’s attacks and link-up play. Also went close to adding to his goal tally for the season.
Bright, always available and involved in so many of those typical rapid-fire counter-attacks. The South Korean is truly in a rich vein of form.
Bullied United defenders all night. His flicked header set up the opening goal and his mere presence panicked Phil Jones into the own goal which doubled Spurs’ lead.
