Zamora could start against United
QPR are hoping Bobby Zamora will play at least an hour of today’s game against Manchester United.
The striker has featured in recent matches but is still being troubled by a hip problem that will probably require another operation at the end of the season.
Zamora has been restricted to substitute appearances but will start against the Premier League leaders if at all possible.
His condition will be assessed ahead of the match, and manager Harry Redknapp said: “We’ll see. It’s up to the physios to try to push him on to longer if we can.
“We’ll see how we go with him. The longer we can get out of him the better. We’re hoping we can get more than just half a game.
“The aim is to keep him going for the last 12 games of the season if we can, because he’s that important to us.”
