Chris Willock has agreed a move to Cardiff City.

Willock, whose QPR contract expired, discussed signing a two-year deal to stay at Loftus Road but was unable to agree terms.

He made 140 league appearances for the R’s, who signed him from Benfica for £750,000 in 2020.

“On behalf of the football club I want to thank Chrissy for his contributions during his time with us,” QPR chief executive Christian Nourry told the club website.

“It is no secret that, as a club, we would have liked to have found a way to continue the adventure with him. After several months of talks, Chris has decided to go in another direction.”
