Action: A lacklustre Chelsea lost their first Premier League game under Guus Hiddink, thanks to Gylfi Sigurdsson’s first-half strike.
Reaction: Afterwards, Blues boss Guus Hiddink revealed why he took Matt Miazga off at half-time – partly because he did not want the rookie defender being sent off.
However, he added that, despite defeat, he was happy to continue to give chances to those who have not been regulars so far this season.

Action: Fulham took a giant stride towards Championship survival as Emerson Hyndman’s injury-time winner – his first goal for the club – earned them their third victory in the space of a week.
Reaction: Boss Slavisa Jokanovic predicted match-winner Hyndman would grow into an important player for Fulham – and insisted Fulham needed to focus on securing the points they need to guarantee survival.
Meanwhile, Cardiff boss Russell Slade admitted his side have “a mountain to climb” to reach the Championship play-offs after their defeat.
Action: Lasse Vibe scored twice as Brentford all but ensured Championship status for next season – but their third successive victory was marred by a serious injury to midfielder Alan Judge.
Reaction: Brentford later confirmed Judge had broken his leg, and that he was under the care of “leading lower limb consultant in the country”.
Action: Nasser El Khayati’s injury-time strike – his first goal for QPR – gave them victory over troubled Charlton at Loftus Road.
