Warnock’s job ‘in doubt’
Neil Warnock’s future as QPR manager is in doubt, according to the Daily Star.
The paper suggests major shareholder Tony Fernandes has reservations about giving Warnock money to spend during the January transfer window.
Celtic are set to renew their interest in Jay Bothroyd by offering the forward the chance to join them on loan from QPR, The Guardian reports.
The Glasgow club were keen to sign Bothroyd prior to his move to W12 from Cardiff and believe the player may be surplus to requirements at Loftus Road.
Transfer-listed Chelsea defender Alex is ready to shun a return to Brazil and sign for QPR, say the Daily Mail.
The Mail also say Wolves are rivalling QPR for the signing of Wayne Bridge from Manchester City.
The Daily Mirror and the Mail both include a story that the R’s have offered £3m for Aston Villa defender James Collins, with the Mirror also reporting the bid for Manchester City’s Nedum Onoua.
