‘Rage’ after Terry decision
England boss Fabio Capello is reportedly furious following the FA’s decision to strip John Terry of the captaincy.
The Daily Telegraph say Capello is angry he was not involved in the process of deciding whether the Chelsea star should retain the armband.
Terry himself was left ‘raging’ by the FA’s actions but has vowed to carry on playing for his country, according to the Daily Star.
The Sun report that Capello is determined to take Terry to the European Championships regardless of fears it could split the England dressing room.
And the Daily Mirror claim Capello even checked the terms of his contract to see if the FA were allowed to act without his input.
The Mirror also have a story suggesting that QPR begged Bradley Orr to stay prior to the defender’s deadline day move to Blackburn.
