Terry latest: Chelsea captain will undergo a scan on Monday
John Terry will undergo a scan on Monday to determine the extent of a knee injury he suffered in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
The Blues skipper, back after his four-match ban, opened the scoring midway through the first half but was later stretchered off following a collision with Luis Suarez.
“He’ll have to have an MRI scan before we fully understand the extent of the injury,” said Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo.
Initial reports from Chelsea’s medical staff indicated that Terry was able to bend the knee.
