Stones sign former Watford winger

Wealdstone have signed former Watford winger Matty Whichelow.

The 24-year-old made 21 league appearances for the Hornets, 17 of them as a substitute, and scored three goals.

He left Vicarage Road in 2013 and later signed for Boreham Wood, who loaned him to Chelmsford and then Oxford City last season.

Whichelow’s career has also included loan spells at Exeter, Wycombe and Accrington.
