Spurs want to sign Sterling from Liverpool for £7m – report
Raheem Sterling is again linked with a move from Liverpool to Tottenham – this time by The Sun.
It is suggested that Spurs will offer £7m for the 17-year-old from Harlesden and that he would welcome a return to the capital.
Sterling was recently linked with a loan move back to QPR, who lost him when he left Loftus Road to join Liverpool in 2010.
Former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to sign Ashley Cole for Paris St-Germain, the Daily Mirror say.
There has been speculation about the England left-back’s future because he is now in the final year of his Chelsea contract.
And it is claimed that Ancelotti is looking to capture him on a three-year deal.
The Mirror also suggest Fulham are leading the chase to sign Ivory Coast striker Arouna Kone from Spanish club Levante.
The 28-year-old is reported to have snubbed moves to Russia and Qatar because he is keen to play in the Premier League.
Meanwhile, The Sun say Fulham have had a £4.5m bid for winger Matt Jarvis rejected by Wolves.
The Daily Mail report that Blackburn are close to signing Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu and have moved ahead of the Whites in the race for Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes.

Rumours are the lad is homesick. Therefore, it makes perfect sense he wants to return to London.
I just wish Liverpool fans would take the blinkers off an apply some common sense before commenting. Still, even if he weren’t homesick, Spurs are a bigger club than Liverpool at the moment and QPR have more money than them so it’d make sense he’d want to join one of these clubs….

This is the stupidest rumour of all.
Liverpool are not going to sell their best young prospect at a knock down price, to a team that’s worse than them, just as he’s breaking into the first team. What a joke.
Steven Gerrard to Wolves is more likely.

Wont happen! but otherwise would be the worst thing raheem could do for his career. Spurs have got this incredibly disgusting habit of buying up young talent from promising careers never to be heard from again! This lad needs games either out on loan or at a mid table prem club that will bring him through into the 1st team as this lad is already good enough believe me. Another possibility and better than a move to Spurs would be abroad. But as i said wont happen. Liverpool treasure this lad and know he’s a top talent and now Rodgers is the manager he is known to like bringing young talent into his teams and will play a bigger part from now on i think.

Spuds want to buy our best youngster for next to nothing… I’m sure it will happen right after Liverpool picks up Messi on a 12 year loan…oh, and directly after Bale grows a set and stops crying.

Pls. do not sell Sterling!!!!
It will be BR’s greatest mistake if Stirling is ever sold and not given a chance to prove himself for the Reds.
