Tottenham ready to focus on Dembele as Modric’s replacement – report
Fulham playmaker Moussa Dembele could now be Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas’ number one target to replace Luka Modric, the Daily Mirror suggest.
On Sunday it was reported that Spurs could move for Dembele if Porto refused to lower their asking price of £25m for Joao Moutinho.
Now that asking price is put at £30m and it is claimed Tottenham are ready to target Dembele once Modric completes a move to Real Madrid.
Dembele reportedly has a £15m release clause in his Fulham contract.
Meanwhile, a number of Monday’s papers pick on Joey Barton’s latest comments on Twitter.
The controversial midfielder has hit out at QPR’s treatment of him and says he is keen to complete a move to Marseille.

Dembele is class, I would love to see him at the lane. Fast, very strong, dominant and dangerous. Just look at his performance against Utd at the weekend. He will not be at Fulham for long in any case, I’d be glad if it were us that took him. Him or Nani anyway. Moutinho would be a wonderful and fitting addition to our starting 11. Moutinho, Dembele/Nani, Llorente and Lloris, now that would be a dream!!
