Redknapp: Morrison should be playing for Barca or Real – and England
Harry Redknapp says Ravel Morrison should be an England regular by now and is in danger of wasting his talent.
Morrison ended last season on loan at QPR from West Ham, who sent him back to the Championship by loaning him to Cardiff City in September.
The hugely talented 21-year-old’s attitude and conduct have been questioned since he was a youth-team player at Manchester United.
“If he was to make the most of what he’s got he could be a world-class player.”

And with Morrison having only started one match since joining Cardiff, Redknapp fears he could fail to fulfil his potential.
The QPR boss said: “Ravel Morrison should be playing for England with that ability. He’s one of the most talented footballers I’ve seen.
“When I worked with him here I thought he was one of the most talented players I’ve seen in my life.
“He should be playing for Barcelona, Real Madrid or someone. That’s how good I felt Ravel Morrison was.
“It’s sad. It’s a shame – a waste. If he was to make the most of what he’s got he could be a world-class player.”
Redknapp believes the same applies to Rangers’ Adel Taarabt who, at 25, has seen his career stall as his attitude has been called into question.
The Moroccan was recently involved in an extraordinary public fall-out with Redknapp, who has accused him of refusing to train properly and being unfit to play.
“Adel’s also got the ability to be one of the best players in the Premier League. He’s got the ability to do that,” Redknapp insisted.
Last month Redknapp suggested Morrison might need to move abroad in order to fulfil his potential.
