QPR will attack City, says Redknapp
Harry Redknapp says QPR plan to attack Manchester City at Loftus Road later today.
Rangers adopted defensive tactics at Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea but boss Redknapp has hinted that he is ready to restore Bobby Zamora to the starting line-up and play with two up front against the out-of-form champions.
He said: “City play an attacking game. They play with two strikers, play an open game and create lots of chances with the players they’ve got.
“But we’re at home and it’s whether you go and fill the midfield and try to be hard to beat, or you have a go. I just feel we’re at home and we’ve got to have a go.
“We almost got a point last week at Chelsea. We’ve got to have a go this week and see if we can pull off a big result.”
Redknapp has confirmed that Joey Barton, Jordon Mutch and Nedum Onuoha have recovered from hamstring injuries and will be in his squad.
