QPR boss Redknapp wants a new approach against Liverpool
Harry Redknapp says QPR need to play at a much higher tempo against Liverpool today.
His position as manager is under scrutiny after a poor start to the season that has left Rangers bottom of the table.
They were particularly poor in 4-0 defeats against Tottenham and Manchester United and he expects to see an improvement against Brendan Rodgers’ side.

“We’ve got to be more aggressive in our play. We’ve got to work harder,” Redknapp said.
“At the moment I think we’re a little bit laid back and worried too much about the opposition and I think we’ve got to really up the ante this weekend and play with more energy – that’s the key.
“We need to up the energy. We need to be quicker to close people down. I think we’ve been standing off too much and giving people too much respect.
“We’ve got to up the pressing and work rate. Some people are natural and do it easier than others. It’s about finding a blend.”
Rangers are confident Niko Kranjcar will be available despite suffering a toe injury in training, but midfielders Joey Barton and Jordon Mutch are both out with hamstring problems.
