QPR eyeing French midfielder – report

QPR are keen on Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue, according to the Daily Mail.

Tottenham are also said to have shown an interest in Capoue, who has previously been linked with Arsenal and Barcelona.

Rangers are again linked with a move for Barca defender Andreu Fontas, 22, after having him watched in a recent match.

The Daily Mail also say Swansea are in talks with Celtic over a move for South Korean playmaker Ki Sung-Yueng, who has been the subject of interest from QPR.

Meanwhile, several papers pick up on comments made by Fulham manager Martin Jol, who believes the transfer window should close before the first game of the season.

Jol has had to contend with speculation about the future of Whites duo Clint Dempsey and Moussa Dembele.

“We should stop the window when the first game is played then all this nonsense would stop,” he said.
