Dyche admits Burnley were outclassed
Burnley boss Sean Dyche admitted his team were outclassed by Chelsea after their 3-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge.
The outstanding Eden Hazard put Chelsea ahead and goals from Willian and Victor Moses sealed a comprehensive victory for the Blues.
Chelsea’s win leaves them top of the Premier League following a hugely encouraging start to their season.
“The first half was as poor as we’ve been in a year,” said Dyche.
“There’s a huge gulf between where we are as a club and where Chelsea are, but when the whistle blows you’ve got to be ready to perform, and we weren’t.
“The second half was marginally better, but overall we made too many poor decisions.”
