O’Neill fears Cattermole injury woe
Sunderland manager Martin O’Neill fears midfielder Lee Cattermole could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering another knee injury.
Cattermole went off during the first half at the Stadium of Light, where QPR picked up a 0-0 draw – only their second clean sheet of the season.
“It would be a big blow for us [if the injury is serious]. As we speak now he’s in a lot of pain,” said O’Neill.
He added: “It was a rather frustrating evening. I thought we would be able to break them down but they had spirit about them and it turned into a difficult game.”
