No excuses from boss Dalglish after Liverpool are beaten by Fulham

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish made no excuses after his team’s 1-0 defeat at home to Fulham.

An own goal by Martin Skrtel gave the Whites their first ever top-flight win at Anfield.

The result angered Dalglish, who rested a number of players ahead of his team’s FA Cup final against Chelsea.

“I don’t think that can be described as a performance,” Dalglish told Sky.

“I thought it would be fair to give them an opportunity to get some minutes on the pitch with an important game on Saturday, but the performance and the attitude was very poor and that’s not like us.”

More reaction to follow later.
