Moore plays for Charlton amid Birmingham City interest
Striker Montell Moore, released by Brentford on Monday, is training with Championship rivals Charlton Athletic.
The 20-year-old played 80 minutes for the Addicks’ development squad in their 2-1 win against Crystal Palace, hours after his contract at Griffin Park had been cancelled.
Sky Sports suggested Moore was close to signing for Birmingham City, who had taken him on trial earlier this month.
But Moore, who made just one appearance in a Brentford shirt, had come on as a substitute for Charlton in their Kent Senior Cup win at Bromley last week and was given another chance to impress against Palace.
