Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal and Man City want Sturridge – report
Daniel Sturridge is wanted by Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal and his former club Manchester City, according to the Sunday Mirror.
It is claimed the Chelsea forward blames manager Roberto Di Matteo for missing out on England’s Euro 2012 squad, having been frozen out by the Italian last season.
And it also suggested that the Blues are ready to offer him to Arsenal as part of a bid for Theo Walcott.
City – who sold him to Chelsea in 2009 – and the Gunners have long been linked with Sturridge, who is believed to be keen to negotiate an improved contract at Stamford Bridge
The Sun on Sunday also say Chelsea want Walcott and are ready to break the bank to sign him, although he could be available on a Bosman free transfer next year, when his current contract expires.
Meanwhile, Fulham face competition from both Aston Villa and Reading for the signing of striker Pavel Pogrebnyak, the Daily Star on Sunday report.
The People claim Reading are confident of signing the Russian and believe a deal is almost complete.
