Impressive DeGale easily sees off Bozic
James DeGale remained on course for a world title shot by beating Stjepan Bozic, whose corner pulled him out at the end of the fourth round at Glow, Bluewater.
DeGale, who demolished Sebestien Demers in Canada only three weeks ago, landed with a succession of crisp punches to the head and body from the start.
Bozic, a former world title challenger who beat world champion Carl Froch as an amatuer, looked hurt by a couple of shots to the body in the opening round.
Harlesden’s Olympic gold medallist also wobbled Bozic with a crunching right uppercut in the third.
The Croat, 38, was regularly picked off again in the following round but looked durable and willing to throw dangerous punches, before the end suddenly came.
