Fulham were level at the break after an uninspiring first 45 minutes of their Capital One Cup second-round tie at Hillsborough.

Pajtim Kasami sent a 25-yarder over the bar, and at the other end Whites keeper Mark Schwarzer kept out a long-range effort from Michail Antonio.

And Antonio missed the best chance of the first half when he burst into the penalty area only to fire over.

Fulham were forced to make a late change to their team after Bryan Ruiz suffered an injury during the warm-up and was replaced in the starting line-up by Damien Duff.

Summer signing Hugo Rodallega was handed his first competitive start for the Whites.
