Half-time: Brentford 2 Bournemouth 1
Artur Boruc spilled Alex Pritchard’s long-range free-kick into his own net to give Brentford a half-time lead.
The Bees had gone ahead on nine minutes when Jonathan Douglas, who signed a new 18-month contract on Friday, smashed home from inside the box after beating his marker.
But Marc Pugh levelled after 30 minutes, capitalising on sloppy Brentford defending and finding the net after his original effort bounced back off the post.
Brentford striker Andre Gray had an effort cleared off the line by Steve Cook shortly after the Cherries equalised, while Alan Judge, making his first appearance since January 3, hit the outside of the post just before Pritchard’s strike.
Brentford (4-3-3): Button; Odubajo, Craig, Tarkowski, Dallas; Douglas, Diagouraga, Judge; Jota, Gray, Pritchard
Subs not used: Bonham, Dean, Saunders, Yennaris, Toral, Smith, Long.
