Fulham and Magpies after former Liverpool man – report
Fulham and Newcastle are among the clubs that have been alerted to the possible availability of former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel, according to the Daily Mail.
Hoffenheim are reportedly ready to sell the 25-year-old for £5m, with Swansea also said to be interested.
Meanwhile, Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is looking to pip his former club Chelsea to the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk star Willian, the Mail suggest.
It is claimed Villas-Boas has made an enquiry about the Brazilian forward, who recently made his discontent clear after Chelsea apparently had a bid for him rejected.
The Daily Mirror report that Chelsea are one of five clubs that would be able to buy Liverpool-bound midfielder Joe Allen from Swansea for £15m because of a clause in his contract.
The Mail also say QPR want to take Raheem Sterling back to Loftus Road on loan.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is tipped to loan out the forward, with Rangers said to be interested in a deal.
Sterling, 17, was with the R’s before securing a move to Anfield in 2010.
