Palhinha completes move to Bayern Munich
Joao Palhinha has completed a move from Fulham to Bayern Munich.
The Portugal international, who will turn 29 next month, has joined the German giants for an additional £42.3m, but the deal is potentially worth more than £46m with add-ons.
He was targeted by Bayern during the summer but the two clubs were unable to agree a deal.
Negotiations resumed, with Palhinha keen to make the move.
“I’m now playing for one of the top clubs in Europe. It’s a dream come true for me, and I’m very proud of that,” said Palhinha, who has signed a four-year contract.
He will be regarded as one of Fulham’s best-ever players, having been outstanding since his £17m move from Sporting two years ago.
He made 68 Premier League appearances for the Whites.
