Reports: Sunderland want Zouma, Saville set for Wigan loan move
Sunderland boss Gus Poyet is looking to tie up a deal for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, according to the Sunday People.
It is claimed that Chelsea are willing to let the France Under-21 international go out on loan next season and that Monaco are also interested.
The People also say the Blues’ young midfielder George Saville, who spent last term at Brentford, is set to join former Bees boss Uwe Rosler at Wigan on a season-long loan.
Meanwhile, Ashley Cole is widely tipped to sign for Italian club Roma following his recent departure from Chelsea.
The deal is said to be worth more than £6m a year – almost as much as he was reportedly earning at Stamford Bridge.
It is suggested in the Mail on Sunday, however, that Liverpool are making a last-ditch attempt to sign the 33-year-old left-back.
