Hill defends under-fire Henry
QPR stalwart Clint Hill has defended Karl Henry, who was barracked by fans during the win against MK Dons at the weekend.
The Rangers midfielder was booed along with head coach Chris Ramsey, who has also come under fire from supporters this season.
Asked about the crowd turning on Henry, Hill told ‘Access All R’s’ on the club website: “It’s not great. Let’s not beat around the bush, it’s not nice.
“It’s hard for him. It’s not nice when you’ve got your own fans booing.
“He’s someone who gives everything in every game – he gives 100% and is always there putting a tackle or header in and always puts himself on the line.
“He’s someone I can relate to. I’ve got a lot of time for him.”
Ramsey defended Henry after Saturday’s game, insisting the 32-year-old “does a lot of unseen work” for the team.

All our bunch who go to every Rangers game believe that Henry must have some dirt on Ramsey as he can only pass sideways and backwards, let’s the opposition run at our midfield ,hardly wins a header and it would make no difference if we played with ten men

Clint Hill is just an ass licker, Karl Henry is the worst player we’ve had at QPR since Steve Palmer but at least Steve Palmer tried his heart out week after week.

I have been supporting before Clint was born. I dont disagree Karl Henry tries and is probably got his heart in the right place and probably one of those players who trains well. Problem is game time is the application of such knowledge and is no longer the training field. This is where some players who look great at training, just look very ordinary in a real match. I dunno if they freeze up or what, but Karl looks very ordinary in matches and makes a lot of mistakes. It is a fact.

Sorry Clint, you are wrong. Been supporting hoops since before you were born. You play with pride and passion. Karl looks like he does not give a toss. Look at his position when ball is in our net. Not me Guv. Sorry but enough is enough.
