Middlesbrough v QPR: Rangers without Austin

QPR will start without a recognised striker for tonight’s game at Middlesbrough.

Charlie Austin, who has been nursing a calf problem, will not be involved, leaving Rangers with Leroy Fer up front.

Forwards Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Tyler Blackwood are among the substitutes, as is young winger Michael Petrasso.

Junior Hoilett has been on international duty with Canada and is unavailable. Karl Henry moves back into midfield and James Perch is restored at right-back. Yun Suk-Young is also recalled.

Boro, meanwhile, are without the injured Fernando Amorebieta.
