Gallen lands manager’s job in Hong Kong
Steve Gallen has been appointed manager of Hong Kong Pegasus.
The Acton-born 42-year-old has signed a one-year contract and takes over from former QPR assistant boss Kevin Bond, who ended last season in charge of the Hong Kong Premier League side.
Gallen, brother of ex-QPR star Kevin, spent 19 years on the coaching staff at Rangers, working at youth and Under-21 levels before a spell as first-team coach.
He was placed on gardening leave soon after the appointment of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as manager at Loftus Road in December and his departure from the club was confirmed several weeks later.
