Fernandes confident in interview but is coy over Hughes’ fate
QPR chairman Tony Fernandes has told Bloomberg TV he believes the club’s fortunes can be turned around – but is reported to have declined to comment on the fate of manager Mark Hughes.
Bottom of the table and without a league win, Rangers head to Manchester United this weekend with Hughes’ future in doubt.
“I’ve been in worse situations before. Let’s wait and see. We remain confident that things can be sorted,” Fernandes is quoted as saying.

Mark Hughes will be gone after the United and Sunderland games. A new manager will be in place for the Villa home game.
