Ex-Hayes & Yeading star cleared

Former Hayes & Yeading United striker Josh Scott has been cleared of attacking a woman in a nightclub.

The 26-year-old, who now plays for League Two Dagenham & Redbridge, was found not guilty of common assault at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.

Scott came through the Hayes youth system and was twice top scorer, helping United win promotion to the Conference Premier.
