Derby day at Loftus Road
QPR and Fulham go head-to-head at Loftus Road this afternoon in what promises to be a spicy west London derby.
It is a crucial game for Rangers, who badly need a win as they battle against relegation. They will also want to avenge a 6-0 defeat against their neighbours at Craven Cottage earlier in the season.
R’s manager Mark Hughes and striker Bobby Zamora will face their former club – meaning a victory would be particularly sweet for Fulham fans.
Hughes stands by his decision to quit Fulham last summer after suggesting they could not match his ambition.
He was subsequently dubbed “a strange man” by Fulham owner Mohamed Al Fayed but this week defended his record as Whites boss.
‘I’d back my record at Fulham against anybody else’s,” said Hughes.
“Eighth in the Premier League for Fulham was an outstanding job. I don’t consider that to be a lack of success.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea face Bolton at Stamford Bridge, where they will be looking for their first win in six matches and one that would ease the pressure on under-fire manager Andre Villas-Boas.
And Brentford travel to Scunthorpe, where Bees boss Uwe Rosler has warned that they can expect a tough physical battle.
