DeGale to defend title against Mohoumadi

James DeGale will defend his European super-middleweight title against Hadillah Mohoumadi of France at Glow, Bluewater, on 13 October.

It will be the Harlesden man’s first fight since signing with promoter Mick Hennessy following a long-running dispute with Frank Warren.

DeGale, 26, stopped former world champion Cristian Sanavia in four rounds in April.

Mohoumadi, 32, lost on points to Sanavia in 2010 – one of two defeats during his 16-fight career.
