Hughes insists Crouch will stay at Stoke
Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has insisted that Peter Crouch will not be leaving the club.
QPR have made several attempts to take Crouch back to Loftus Road and plan to try again when the transfer window opens next month.
The Ealing man, who left Rangers in 2001, is also reported to be a target for Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis.
“He’s not going anywhere in January,” said former QPR manager Hughes after Crouch scored the winner in Stoke’s 2-1 victory against Aston Villa.
“He gives us a focus to our attacking play. He’s an accomplished football player.
“He’s been playing at this level for a long time and you don’t do that unless you’re a very good player.”

If Mark Hughes likes the player then QPR should steer clear, certain kiss of death…..
Haven’t Stoke sacked Hughes yet?
