Chelsea v Everton line-ups: Matic returns, Pedro retained, three Everton changes

Matic was a pivotal player for Chelsea last season

Chelsea have made one change from the side which drew 2-2 against West Bromwich Albion, with Nemanja Matic replacing Oscar in the starting line-up.

Cesc Fabregas starts in Oscar’s more advanced role, with Matic and John Obi Mikel providing the base in midfield.

Pedro keeps his place, despite being taken off at half-time against the Baggies, with Kenedy, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Loic Remy among the substitutes.

Eden Hazard (groin) and Radamel Falcao (thigh) were ruled out before the game.

Everton have made three changes, with Leighton Baines switching to right-back and John Stones reverting to centre-half.
