Chelsea face competition from Gunners for Saints star – report
Southampton prospect Luke Shaw is a target for Arsenal, the Daily Mirror say.
Chelsea are one of several clubs to have shown an interest in the 17-year-old left-back but have been told by the Saints that he is not for sale.
It is claimed that Arsenal had him watched in a pre-season friendly against Ajax in which he came on as a second-half substitute.

The Daily Telegraph believe Chelsea will offer Wigan an initial £6m rising to £9m for Victor Moses and want Marseille’s Spanish right-back Cesar Azpilicueta for £8m.
And The Sun suggest manager Roberto Di Matteo will make at least two more big-money signings to take Chelsea’s summer spending past the £100m mark.

Why would Chelsea go for ANOTHER left back? Ashley Cole, Ryan Bertrand, Patrick Van Aanholt & Ben Gordon. I guess 4 Left backs, 2 absolute quality ones and 2 up and coming stars isn’t enough? Pffft, bad journalism, made up nonsense.
