Chelsea close to axing Benitez – report
Rafael Benitez could be facing the axe, according to the Daily Star.
It is claimed that Chelsea have launched an inquest into the team’s poor recent results under the interim manager and that he is on the brink of a humiliating exit from Stamford Bridge.
It is also claimed that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich made his feelings clear following Sunday’s draw at Brentford.
And senior Blues officials are said to be questioning whether Benitez can deliver a top-four finish.
QPR remain keen to sign Peter Odemwingie despite having a second bid for the forward rejected by West Brom, the Daily Mirror say.
Odemwingie has made it clear he wants to move to west London and Rangers are tipped make another attempt to land him.
Rangers players were involved in a bust-up after Saturday’s humiliating defeat against MK Dons, according to the Daily Mail.
And The Sun pick up on QPR’s long-standing interest in bringing former Loftus Road favourite Peter Crouch back to the club from Stoke.
Meanwhile, the Mirror report that Fulham are set to complete the signing of Belgian striker Igor de Camargo, 29, from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Benitez is not d right coach for chelsea, because he is walking in the past (by only trying to bring torres to form, when he knowd that one man can’t make a forest), where as, he should be walking towards d future, by planning on are, chelsea can qualified for UEFA and win at least one or two cup for the season.
Therefore benitez should be fired and sacked, before chelsea become worst

Dear Roman, i think it’s high time u released Benitez of his duties and try sell TORRES as to cut ur loss on him now or u swap him with a better striker. Spain does’t have a discent record of producing good strikers in the world. Sign Moyes and give him time if possible to blend the squad. Sign william, one good centre midfielder and a good striker that will compete with Ba, loan Marin out as soon as possible.

As of today, Rafa does not have a viable coaching potentials. He should go for a refreashing course. He is living on past record. Even Torres is same. Football is not about past, we are looking at what you can deliver presently. Bringing Torres back to his former form was the bait used by Rafa to get the Chelsea appointment. He has already failed. The fear of his failure makes him to give Torres more useless playing time. Rafa’s abmition is to destroy Chelsea, which the management fall pry of. Is a great mistake. He has been termed a “dope”.

Torres presence in chelsea is just the opposite of what Drogba’s presence is for the club. Yet Drogba is relieved from chelsea for Torres, what an irony? For Benitez, his presence in chelsea is like eating a forbidden fruit. Let him leave

Why are Chelsea coaches very stubborn? Why does Benitez leave Ba on the bench for 80 minutes? When will the coaches stop trying Torres as if he is on the training field? Chelsea pays more for Torres by keeping him on the pitch. Won’t the fans get tired of traveling to places to watch football with no good results? Come on! Wenger can never leave a striker on the bench for 30 minutes when his club is down by a goal or conceding! Fans are kept under pressure as well as the rest of the players – Benitez please help if you are not forced to play Torres all the time.
