Charlton man believes he could be fit in time to face QPR
Charlton’s Johann Berg Gudmundsson believes he could be fit to face QPR on Saturday.
The Addicks midfielder was forced off after just 19 minutes of their 0-0 draw at Ipswich in midweek.
He suffered a head injury after a clash with Ipswich’s Jonas Knudsen and could not continue.
However, Gudmundsson – who is likely to be in Iceland’s Euro 2016 squad – was checked over and allayed concerns on his Twitter account.
He tweeted: “Had some tests yesterday and today [Tuesday and Wednesday] and everything should be okey in few days time.”
