James DeGale says he is ready to become world champion after becoming the first man to stop Marco Antonio Periban. Harlesen’s Olympic gold medallist destroyed the Mexican in the third round of their fight in Liverpool and is the mandatory challenger for Carl Froch’s IBF super-middleweight title .
