Boss shrugs off talk of Wolves keeper being targeted by QPR

Wolves manager Terry Connor has responded to speculation linking Wayne Hennessy with QPR by insisting his club do not intend to sell the goalkeeper.

Rangers boss Mark Hughes was reported to be planning a summer bid for Hennessy if his team stay up and bottom-placed Wolves are relegated.

But The Sun quote O’Connor as saying: “We will fight to keep our best players.”

In any case Hennessy faces a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.

Meanwhile, all today’s papers of course preview the Champions League semi-final clash between Chelsea and Barcelona.

The Daily Mirror suggest Barca’s ex-Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas has branded Chelsea a long-ball team, while The Sun report that Frank Lampard has declared that his side do not fear the Catalan giants.
