Best online casinos inspired by football
What are the chances of Chelsea making a major challenge for the Premier League title this season?
According to some of the best casinos inspired by football, Liverpool and defending champions Manchester City are likely to be the two frontrunners again. But UK casinos aren’t writing off Chelsea, who have looked impressive during pre-season.
The latest win under new boss Frank Lampard came in Austria, where they beat RB Salzburg 5-3. Two of the goals were scored by Christian Pulisic, whose recent performances have been encouraging.
Life after Hazard
Replacing talisman Hazard following his summer move to Real Madrid is an unenviable task, but Pulisic is rated as one of the best young players in the game and Chelsea will be hoping he can hit the ground running. The American playmaker has obvious ability and potential. The question is whether he can quickly adapt to the pace and physicality of English football. If he can, then Hazard might not be so badly missed after all.
Midfield options
Chelsea’s strength definitely appears to be in midfield, where Lampard has some outstanding options. The new boss will surely move N’Golo Kante back to his preferred defensive midfield role, with the Frenchman having been controversially deployed in a more attacking position under Lampard’s predecessor Maurizio Sarri. It will be like a new signing for the Blues.
In terms of more attacking midfield options, there are plenty. Ross Barkley has looked great in pre-season, as has young Mason Mount, who was on loan at Derby County under Lampard last season. Jorginho, Sarri’s flagship signing last summer, has not followed his old boss back to Italy and will be hoping to prove a point in his second season at Stamford Bridge. Mateo Kovacic has been signed on a permanent deal from Real Madrid and of course there’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is recovering from an Achilles injury.
Giving youth a chance
Lampard’s determination to give home-grown talent a chance to flourish is a great chance for Loftus-Cheek to establish himself – and he’s not alone. It looks like being a big season for Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is also recovering from an Achilles injury, while Mount looks like a brilliant prospect. Find best guide about online casinos. If the youngsters can step up and prove themselves, and if Lampard can stamp out the kind of defensive shortcomings which plagued Chelsea under Sarri, then they could well give City and Liverpool a run for their money. Many casinos realise this, but others are underestimating Chelsea’s chances.
