Quins ease through to Sevens final

Harlequins saw off Bath, Exeter Chiefs and London Irish to comfortably book their place in next month’s Premiership Sevens Series final.

They kicked off with a resounding 24-5 victory against hosts Bath, with tries from Miles Mantella, Ollie Lindsay-Hague, Ross Chisholm and Sam Smith.

Quins followed that up with a 43-0 crushing of Exeter Chiefs. Chisholm helped himself to a hat-trick and there were also tries for Smith, Benjamin Urdapiletta, Charlie Walker and Joe Trayfoot.

With their place in the final already secured, the west London side ended their evening with a 26-12 triumph against Irish. Walker ran in two of their tries, with the others coming from Smith and Mantella.

Bath will face Quins in the final at The Stoop on August 5 after overcoming Exeter to take second place.
