Quins deny holding goundshare talks with London Welsh

Harlequins have denied reports they have discussed sharing The Stoop with London Welsh if the Championship club win promotion to the top flight.

The Richmond-based outfit have been widely tipped to use Quins’ stadium should they go up, as their current Old Deer Park ground does not meet Premiership criteria.

But a Quins statement read: “Harlequins would like to confirm that there is no agreement between the clubs nor are any discussions currently taking place with London Welsh about such a possibility.”
