O’Shea happy after Quins see off Exeter

Harlequins boss Conor O’Shea predicted his team will get even better following their comprehensive victory against Exeter Chiefs.

Tries from Nick Evans, Charlie Walker and Mike Brown helped them to a 22-6 triumph in their sixth annual festive fixture at Twickenham, which was watched by a crowd of almost 75,000.

“This will be the tightest Premiership ever, and that was a very, very big win for us,” said O’Shea.

“Our aim after a difficult start to the season we had was to be in the top four at the halfway stage, which we are. We’ll get stronger and stronger and give it a good crack.

“It would have been lovely to get the bonus point and it’s frustrating we didn’t. But we played some magnificent rugby and, if we play like that, we’ll be tough to play.”
