Harlequins have signed Samoa international back Alofa Alofa.
The 25-year-old began his career in rugby league with the Sydney Roosters, making the switch to union in 2013.
Alofa scored 13 tries for West Harbour that season and was called into the New South Wales Waratahs squad in 2014, scoring on his debut.
He then went on to play for La Rochelle in the French Top 14 and has won three caps for his country.
John Kingston, Quins director of rugby, said: “I am really pleased to have secured the signing of Alofa.
“He is a dynamic and powerful player with the ability to break the line.
“His versatility in being able to play outside-centre and wing is an added bonus and I have no doubt our supporters will enjoy watching him when he puts on the Harlequins shirt.”
