Harlequins have extended Tom Guest’s contract at The Stoop until 2014.
Guest, 27, has represented his country at 7s and Saxon level and is keen to force his way into the reckoning for a full England cap.
He has made over 130 appearances for the club since graduating from its academy.
“Tom has been a Harlequin for all of his career and we are delighted that he has committed his future to us yet again,” said Quins director of rugby Conor O’Shea.
“He has been extremely unfortunate with injury over the past nine months but, up until January, he was arguably our best player.
“Tom is hugely ambitious to achieve honours with both Harlequins and England, and I have no doubt that, over the next few seasons, he has the capability to achieve his ambition on both fronts.”
Guest said: “I am looking forward to getting back on the pitch and helping the team push on in the coming seasons.”
