Harlequins scrum-half Danny Care has been recalled to the England set-up by coach Stuart Lancaster, who has named a 42-man squad to go to South Africa later this month.
The 25-year-old was dropped for the Six Nations after he was charged with drink-driving but has been handed an olive branch, while Chris Robshaw is named as captain.
Care, who missed last year’s World Cup because of injury, last played for England against Wales in August.
He was arrested four times in three months earlier this year but was given Harlequins’ full support and has since given up drinking.
