QPR striker Bobby Zamora is a doubt for next weekend’s game at Manchester City after sustaining a huge gash to the head during his team’s 1-1 draw at Norwich.
Zamora played on after receiving stitches following a collision with defender Leon Barnett, but his injury is causing some concern and will certainly keep him out of Tuesday’s League Cup game against Walsall.
“We’ve got to check Bobby. It’s a nasty gash,” said Rangers boss Mark Hughes.
“He’s now a big doubt for Tuesday and we’ll have to see about the Man City game. It’s a shame because he did really well and added to the team today.”
