QPR ended a troubled 2017 with a fantastic away win. Here’s how we rated each player in their 2-1 victory at Wolves.
Dependable for Rangers yet again, not least when denying Bright Enobakhare in the first half to ensure his team got to half-time on level terms.
A very decent performance. Kept it simple and used the ball well.
Comfortable in the centre of the R’s defence. A good display.
Passed fit after injury and replaced the suspended Nedum Onuoha both in the team and as captain. His presence at the back was a crucial factor in the win.
Covered lots of ground on the left and won several important challenges.
Slow to the ball at times, particularly in the second half, but passed well and helped frustrate Wolves.
A cracking debut for the Irish youngster. He has a nice range of passing and also showed terrific battling qualities. A performance to be proud of.
Looked lost at times and his tracking back is woeful, but he has pace and the ability to find space. He did cause Wolves some problems.
A day to remember for the Pole, who crossed for Idrissa Sylla to open the scoring and restored Rangers’ lead when he showed great persistence to score the late winner.
A very welcome sight for QPR fans. Fit again and making his first start of the season, Mackie was full of running and, perhaps more importantly, was a vocal presence on the pitch too, encouraging his team-mates and driving them forward.
A threat up front and missed a good chance but atoned by scoring from Wszolek’s cross. His record is pretty decent – despite the striker’s limited game time this season it was his fifth goal for the R’s.
Replaced Sandro midway through the second half and did well in midfield as Wolves pushed forward.
